What are the different nutrients required by the plants? How do they get nutrients?

Hey!!!

A plant requires total 16 nutrients which it gets from air, water and soil. Soil supplies 13 among the 16 and remaining 3 nutrients are supplied by air and water. Soil supplies nutrients like copper, zinc, magnesium, boron, clorine, calcium, potassium, magnese, iron, molybdenum, nitrogen, phosphorous and sulphur.
These nutrients are classified as macronutrients (required in large amount) and micronutrients (required in less amount). Air supplies carbon and oxygen to the plant and water supplies hydrogen and oxygen to the plant.

potassium
phosphorous
nitrogen
sulphur
magnesium

these are required in high quantities known as macronutrient!!

iron
boron
zinc
copper
molybedium
maganese

these are required un small quantites called micronutrient

they get nutrients from soil, water!!
