What are the different parts of a male reproductive system? Explain with a diagram.

The male reproductive system consists of following

1) Sex glands

2) Testies

3) Penis

4) Spermatic ducts etc

These organs works together to produce Sperms

1) Scrotum

This is the big sac like organ that houses the testies located in the inferior region of the penis. Scrotum is made up of two pouches containing testies in it.

2) Testies

They are also known as testicle which are responsible for the production of the sperm and testosterone Testies are about 1.5 to 2 inches long

3) Ductus deferens

It is also known as the vas deferens, is a muscular tube that carries sperm superiorly from the epididymis into the abdominal cavity to the ejaculatory duct.

4) Penis

The penis is the male external sexual organ located superior to the scrotum. The function of the penis is to deliver semen into the vagina during sexual intercourse
