1)The centeral nervous system is made up of the brain and spnial cord.

2)The peripheral nervous system is made up of nerves that branch off from the spnial cord and extend to all parts of the body.

Thier are two types of nerves=

1)Sensory nerves also known as affirent nerves,carry impulses from sensory receptors towards the brain.

2)Motor nerves also known as efferent nerves,carry impulses away from the brain to muscles and glands.
