Answer:

The components that make up the earth are called the realms of the spheres. The characteristics of different spheres of Earth are as follows:

1.Biosphere: The term 'bio' means life in Greek. The biosphere is the place where life exists on a planet. It has its own climate, plant, and animal life across the planet, called ecosystems.

2. Hydrosphere: Earth is called a watery planet because 70% of its surface is covered with water in liquid and solid form. All water forms like oceans, lakes, rivers, ponds, rain, clouds, and groundwater from the hydrosphere.

3. Lithosphere: The term 'litho' means rocky in Greek. It is the surface that we live on that is the solid outer layer of Earth and consists of rocks and soil.

4. Atmosphere: The term 'Atmo' means the air in Greek. The atmosphere consists of all the gases that make up the planet. For example, Oxygen is 78%, Nitrogen is 21%, and other gases like helium, hydrogen, and others are present in negligible quantities.
