Explanation:

Plants release oxygen during the day. This oxygen is a by-product of photosynthesis. This is the main oxygen supply of the earth.

Secondly, during the night plants release carbon dioxide. This carbon dioxide maintains ecological balance.

Thirdly plants release water droplets from their stomata to cool their bodies. This process is called transpiration.

In addition to this plants release a number of raisins which is a waste product but used in a large number of processes in our day to day life.
