There are many different types of blood groups, but upto the level of Class 12, only ABO system of blood grouping is being taught .

Explanation:

The blood groups are:-

•"A"with A antigen and B antibodies

•"B" with B antigen and A antibodies

•"AB" with both A and B antigen and no antibodies

•"O" with no antigen and both A and B antibodies

After that the groups may have + and - groups depending on the presence of Rhesus factor. If it is present them the group is +ve and if not present it is -ve.
