The different types of calyx are:


Gamosepalous calyx: When the sepals are partly or completely fused with each other, the calyx is said to be gamosepalous. Such a type of calyx is found in Datura and Hibiscus (China Rose)

Polysepalous calyx: When the sepals are free from each other, the calyx is said to be Polysepalous. It is found is Rose species.
