1) Apical Meristem:- It is present in the growing parts of the plant i.e. Tips of Root and stem and causes increase in their length.

2) Intercalary Meristem:- They are present at the base of the leaves or internodes of the twigs.

3) Lateral Meristem:- Growth in the girth of the stem or roots is due to lateral Meristematic Tissues(cambium)
