Mixture is a form of matter which is made up of two or more pure substances that are physically fixed in any ratio by mass. They are of two types
Explanation:
Homogeneous mixture-We can't easily distinguish the components of this due it's throughout uniform composition. We can't see a visible boundary b/w it's components.This is because the particles of solute get accommodated in the interparticle spaces of the solvent. eg. Salt solution or NaCl.xH20, Sugar solution etc.
Heterogenous mixture- We can distinguish the components due to it's uneven distribution. There is no visible boundary between it's components. The solute either floats on the top of the solvent or forms a separate boundary. eg Kerosene in water or Veg Oil in water
