Divergent Boundaries:
- In divergent Boundaries, The two plates move away from each other and a new crust is formed.
- The red sea, Great rift of Africa, and Gulf of Aden are formed due to divergent Plate Boundaries.
Convergent Boundaries:
- In Convergent Plate Boundaries, the plates crumbles into each other destroying the crust.
- As a result of Convergent Boundaries , new mountains ranges are formed.
Transform Plate Boundaries:
- In Transform plate boundaries, the plate slides past each other horizontally without creating or destroying a crust.
- San Andreas fault zone is one of the best example of Transform Plate Boundaries.
