Rectangle :
- All the angles of a rectangle are 90°.
- Opposite sides of a rectangle are parallel and equal.
- In a rectangle, diagnols bisect each other.
Square :
- All the angles of a square are 90°.
- All the sides of a rectangle are equal and opposite sides are parallel.
- Diagnols in a square bisect each other perpendicularly.
Parallelogram :
- Opposite angles are equal.
- Opposite sides are equal and parallel.
- Diagnols bisect each other.
- In a parallelogram, sum of any two adjacent angles is 180°.
Rhombus :
- Opposite angles are equal.
- All sides are equal whereas opposite sides are parallel.
- Diagnols bisect each other perpendicularly.
- Sum of any two adjacent angles is 180°.
Trapezium :
- Only one pair of opposite sides are parallel to each other.
- In a trapezium, adjacent angles add upto 180°.
