anaerobic respiration - pryuvate is converted into etahnol n co2 this takes place in test during fermentation. this type of respiration takes place in absence of o2
aerobic- pyruvate molecule breaks down to give co2 n h2o. it takes place in presence of o2. it takes place in mitochondria. greater amt of energy is released
when there is lack of o2 in our muscles another type of pathway taakes place. the pryuvate is converted into lactic acid which is 3 crabon compound.this causes cramps in our muscles during heavy exercises
