2. Using of modern farming machines like tractors and threshers.
3. Using of high yielding variety (HYV) of seeds.
4. Applying chemical fertilizers, pesticides and artificial manures.
5. Setting up proper irrigation systems.

Some drawbacks:

1. The machineries are expensive and poor farmers cannot afford to buy them.
2. Chemical fertilisers and pesticides are harmful to our health. They pollute our drinking water sources.
3. Fertilisers and pesticides kills micro-oganisms and other living species and upset the balance of nature. When carried by rain water and deposited in rivers, lakes and oceans they kill aquatic creatures.
