Hii friend,
The Directive Principles of the State Policy are guidelines for the Government of India, as laid down by the Constitution. The government (the central as well as the State governments) must keep these policies in mind while making laws. Some of these are :
• The socio-economic conditions should be such that the citizens can lead good lives.
• The government shall provide means of livelihood for all citizens, offering equal pay for equal work to both men and women alike.
• The government shall ensure the prevention of child abuse and exploitation of the weaker sections of society.
• Children, below the age of 14 years, must be provided with free education.
hope this helps u ☺☺☺

directive principles of state policy are guidelines issued in the constitution of India to help the government in formulating rules and regulations for it's citizens and to help the government in functioning better and smoother..
there are contained in part IV of the constitution.. articles 36-51.
and are aimed towards the betterment of Indian republic.
it is the duty of Indian state to take these provisions under consideration..
but these are not enforceable by law...
i.e. one cannot be forced in the government to follow.
however for a government's elite functioning they are extremely necessary..
the directive principles of state policy are..
# providing free and compulsory education to all its citizens
# .. aiming at providing equal and adequate nutrition and conditions of livelihood
# equal pay to men and women for equal work..and proper working conditions supply
# try not to concentrate wealth of the nation into a few hands..
# distribution of basic amenities . necessities and powers between all people equally..
# establishing a welfare state and bringing our social revolution in the society.
# to develop thirst for scientific knowledge and understanding between people.
HOPE THIS HELPS YOU
