Some of the disadvantages of democracy are: Lack of Efficiency: In ademocracy almost all political decisions and policies have to be debated first until a majority agrees to have it implemented. This can severely delay the implementation of important legislation and or political decisions

along with the advantages there are some disadvantages of the democracy they are as following :
1) important part of the democracy is elections but electrol competition lead to disunity between citizens
2)there is slow decision making process

more levels of government this means more corruption
