what are the disadvantage of non democratic country

the disadvantages are......that in a non democratic Country people r not free to put vote....contest elections and choose their representatives......they do not have the freedom of speech......they r not allowed to talk bad about government.......even for minor things they are put behind the bars............ Myanmar is still struggling for democracy.........
