What are the disadvantages of green revolution. - i need almost 15 - 20 of them

1. The Green Revolution, howsoever impressive, but not a 100% success.
2. Only the states of Punjab and Haryana showed the best results.
3. A study found high rate of genetic damage among farmers, which was attributed to pesticide use.
4. Due to change in land use pattern and implying two or three crop rotation every year, land quality has gone down and yield has suffered.
5. New machinery replaced manual labour leading to unemployment and rural-urban migration.
6. Poor farmers could not afford HYV seeds, fertilizers and machinery, some borrowed money and ended up in large debts.
7. Some new varieties of crops have inferior taste.
8. Due to heavy chemical fertilizer, land has become hard and carbon level has gone down.

Due to heavy crop rotation pattern, neither is land given rest nor do we have time to imply proper weed removal system which has increased weeds.

Pests which were used to be controlled by bio degradable methods, have become resistant to many pesticides and now these chemical pesticides have become non effective.

Due to heavy use of chemical pesticides, insecticides and fertilizers we have lost many birds and friendly insects and this is a big loss in long term. 
12. These chemicals go deep in the soil and contaminate ground water which effects our health. 
13. Water table has gone down due to lack of water harvesting systems and now we have to pull water from 300 to 400 ft. depth which was 40 to 50 feet earlier.

ew seeds are being used and old once have been lost since new once give better yield but due to this many important genes of the old seeds are also lost.
