what are the disadvantages of homemade charcoal and sand water filter..?​

Answer:

charcoal has good absorption and so absorbs organic and mineral impurities. however this filter has considerd drawbacks it does not purify water from bacteria and heavy metals. so, after filtration the water should be boiled well.
