1. It corrupts the people minds. We should not believe on some spirit to save us, we should act on the things we want to achieve.

2. It promotes division and confusion. Too many religions, too many contradiction, cause too many killings

3. Not everyone believes that some spirit exists

The disadvantages of non-secularism are as follows:

  • Secularism refers to the tolerance of every religion, disregarding political, social, and cultural aspects of society.
  • Secularism provides religious freedom to the people. Non-secularism can lead to discrimination based on religion, caste, and color. In this way, minority religious groups will be created.
  • Secularism lets us understand each other's culture and practice tolerance and respect toward other's religions. Non-secularism makes an individual biased towards one's own culture and religion. It leads to social disconnection, lack of respect towards other communities, and hatred toward other religions.
  • Non-secularism takes away the freedom of speech and binds people to communicate in only a particular language. It also binds them to follow the religion prevalent in the state by giving up their religion.
