The disadvantages of Physical Changes are:-

- Physical changes are reversible changes without any chemical reaction taking place.
- For example, change in the state of the Matter of water, folding of paper, etc.
- During a physical change, the molecules rearrange their position rather than changing the composition of the substance.
- These physical changes do not cause pollution.
Disadvantages--
- Physical changes are not applicable if one needs to separate compounds from the constituent elements.
- For example, this process is not used to separate different components of salts.
- The most harmful effect of Physical change is that it causes Global Warming because it increases the amount of carbon dioxide and carbon monoxide.
