The disadvantages are -
1. Overcrowding at a particular area -
• If seeds get buried at a very close distance, there is a high chance of overcrowding!
2. Problem in growing -
• The seeds should not be sown too close as the plants will not get sufficient space to grow and will compete for space, nutrients and sunlight.
