Hiii There!!!

Following are the disadvantages of series arrangement for household circuit :-

1) In series combination of a circuit, if in the circuit any of the components failes to work, then the circuit will break then none of the components will work.

2) For example:- It is not possible to connect a bulb and a heater in the same circuit, because they need different values of the current to operate properly.
Hence, to overcome this problem we use parallel combination or series arrangement.

Hope it helps☺️

series arrangement is not used in domestic circuits because

◾◾ There is voltage division in series circuits. Each component of a series circuit receives a small voltage for a large supply voltage. As a result, the amount of current decreases and the device becomes hot.

Disadvantages of Series Circuits

◾if one component in a series circuit fails due to any reason, then all the components in the circuit fail because the circuit has been broken.

◾the more components there are in a series circuit, the greater the circuit's resistance

◾ Current is constant in series combination, so it is impractical to connect a bulb and an electric heater in series.

I hope, this will help you
