• Heat, it gets much hotter in the valleys, sometimes as much as 15 degrees hotter.

• Traffic, it sucks in the valley. While traffic sucks pretty much everywhere in So Cal, it’s worse in the valley because all of the freeways converge in the valley. It’s hard to move around.

• I think the worst part is the smog. The smog settles in the valley, it is much worse than the foothills or the coast.

2. When the flooding is gone the land becomes very dry.

3. This causes farmers not being able to farm and grow crops.

4. As well as less trading and less money.

5. Their is no natural barriers/protection.
