Disorders related to circulatory system :-

Hypertension -

  • It is also called as high blood pressure.
  • It is the term used to indicate blood pressure higher than normal (120/80).
  • If the repeated cheques of blood pressure of an individual is 140/90 or higher, i.e. 140 mm Hg diastolic pressure and 90 mm Hg systolic pressure; then the individual is said to be in hypertension.
  • This can leads to hard decisions and can also affect different organs like brain and kidney.

CAD -

  • This is also said to be coronary artery disease.
  • Also, it can be called atherosclerosis.
  • It mainly affects vessels that supply blood to heart muscle.
  • It happens due to the deposition of calcium, fat, cholesterol and fibrous tissues making the lumen of arteries narrower.

Angina -

  • It is also called as Angina pectoris.
  • It can occur in in an individual at any age but it is common to occur in middle-aged and elderly people.
  • The symptom includes acute chest pain. This happens when know enough oxygen is reaching the heart muscle.
  • It occurs because of the conditions that affect the blood flow.

Heart Failure -

  • It is the state of heart when it does not pump blood effectively to meet the needs of the body.
  • It can be called as congestive heart failure because it's main symptom includes congestion of lungs.
