The problem with cotton textiles in India is weaving process, as well as knitting process units, is not high-quality yarn that is produced in our country.
There is some modern factory in this segment but most of productions are in small unit. It caters to the local market.
This is one of the major drawbacks of this industry.
That is the reason Indian spinners export cotton and garment manufacture has to import fabric.
