Answer:

Explanation:

A lot of this depends on what you mean by ‘education’ as well as what part of the world you are addressing this question. I assume you mean in free countries and you mean the matriculation route through a higher education college or university. As such females appreciate the same advantages as ‘anyone’ getting an education vs. not, especially for women since they have fewer options in the work force than men. For example you see very few women in auto repair, HVAC repair, plumbing, construction, and on and on. These occupations pay very good wages and are excellent options for anyone wanting to make a good living but not have to go to college. It’s just that you see very few females in those lines of work… primarily because they are not ‘attracted’ to those vocations.

My daughter is a good example. She was a bartender for years but realized her income potential was very limited, especially as she got older. After the last recession she decided that if she was to have a future in which she had more control of her life she needed a higher education that prepared her for higher paying jobs she was willing to do. She chose nursing and is now in nursing school.

Disadvantages - none unless she lives in a highly patriarchal society that frowns upon or even punishes females for seeking an education.

Question

what are the drawbacks in the propagation of women education ?

Answer

Today more girls than ever go to school. However, despite progress, women and girls continue to face multiple barriers based on gender and its intersections with other factors, such as age, ethnicity, poverty, and disability, in the equal enjoyment of the right to quality education. This includes barriers, at all levels, to access quality education and within education systems, institutions, and classrooms, such as, amongst others:

  1. harmful gender stereotypes and wrongful gender stereotyping
  2. child marriage and early and unintended pregnancy
  3. gender-based violence against women and girls
  4. lack of inclusive and quality learning environments and inadequate and unsafe education infrastructure, including sanitation
  5. poverty
