What are the drawbacks of Bohr’s Model?

Answer:

It could not explain the splitting of hydrogen spectral lines by very fine lines.Bohr did not give the concept of subshells. Bohr suggested circular orbits of electrons around the nucleus in one plane .Actually,the atomic structure is not flat,it is in three dimensions. Bohr could not explain Zeeman and Stark effect.

the Borh Model is very limited in size. Poor spectral predictions are obtained when larger atoms are in question . it cannot predict the relative intensities of spectral lines .
