What are the drawbacks of coal found in India?

It is the largest source of Carbon Emission. It emits hazardous chemicals into the environment like Arsenic,Mercury, Sulfur Dioxide which pose as threat to human health. It contributes immensely to the Global Warming and depletion of Ozone layer during the coal combustion process. Coal mining is also one of the major reasons of several casualties and displacement of people.
