★Major drawbacks of dalton atomic Theory

• In Dalton's atomic theory of matter ,Atoms were thought to be indivisible but discover of electrons, protons and neutrons. This theory proved wrong because atoms can be further divided into still smaller particles.

• Dalton's atomic theory says that all the atoms of an elements having exactly the same mass. But discover of Isotopes, Dalton's theory proved wrong because atoms of same element can have slightly different masses.

• Dalton's atomic theory said the atoms of different elements have different masses but discover of isobars,this theory proved wrong because atoms of different elements can have the same masses.
