Drawback of Rutherford's Nuclear Model of Atom. ... For this, Rutherford gave the explanation that electrons revolve around the nucleus in a spiral path. This too is not satisfactory because in following a spiral path, energy is lost by the electrons and ultimately they will fall into the nucleus, but atoms are stable.

hey user !!!

he was unable to explain the stability of an atom ..
in terms of science electrons while revolving around the nucleus a time will come and electrons finally fall into the nucleus. . and the atom get stability. .
but Rutherford explained that atom do not get stable in this process. .
