It will cause an overcrowding in some parts of the field , whereas there will be less plants in some parts of the field . It will also cause a competition among plants for nutrients which will result in unhealthy growth of plants .

When seeds are unevenly distributed in a field while sowing, then there is overcrowding of plants. There will be competition for nutrients, space, water etc. This will affect the crop yield, as fewer seeds will become healthy plants. Sometimes, a few plants have to be removed to prevent overcrowding.
