the drawbacks are as follows :
1. Many times It leads to floods because sometimes government is not ready to face big rainfall.

2. It also leads to droughts if rain come late. This leads to the crop failure due to lack of water.

3. Many times rain come when there is no requirement of it for crops, this also cause crop failure especially during harvest season.
