The dream of Saheb-e-Alam was to wear the shoes which would fit exactly fit in his feet. Mukesh's dream was to become a driver and drive a car.
Both the boys had their dreams which they wanted to achieve in their life. It was the condition in which they lived which made it impossible for them to fulfill these dreams in their life. In reality, Saheb was a rag picker while Mukesh was a bangle maker. They were bound by these situations in their life which would never allow their dreams to be fulfilled in reality.
