1.)They help in break down of organic material ,they are one of the decomposing factors
2.)In some countries they are also taken as food(not likely but  a fact)
3,.)they help in decomposing material which are waste

The economic importance of cockroach is as follows-

1) Cockroach eat lot of dirt and trashes from the environment and make them clean.

2) Cockroach  provide opportunity for thousand of people in the disinfection business as they provide inspiration for the synthesis of disinfecting agents.

3) They are used by cosmetic companies as well in the treatment of cancer.
