Sadly, no. Human beings do not regenerate. The liver has remarkable (for a mammal) recuperative powers, but even it will not regrow a removed lobe; instead, the remaining lobes will increase in size. But the lungs? No. You will have reducedlung capacity forever after a lobe is removed.

A lobectomy is a type of lung surgery in which one lobe of a lung is removed. The right lung has 3 lobes, and the left lung has 2 lobes. This type of surgery may be done in lung cancer, tuberculosis, COPD, cystic fibrosis, or other conditions that affect the lung.
