The K-12 curriculum have many rewards to every Filipino students. One of this is improving our skills and knowledge, it may help us to choose what will be the course that we want and this may lead us to a successful life.

The effects of k-12 basic education program in the Philippine collegiate level​ are as follows:

  • K-12 curriculum drew undesirable reactions.
  • Critics have been very vocal about their chief concern and as well as the Government isn’t ready yet for this new system.
  • And according to the parents of every student here in the Philippines said that this is another problem for them.
  • Many parents were distressed with this new system of education as they have to disburse more cash for the education of their children.
  • Also the government does not have the money to pay for two more years of free education as they need to solve primarily the lack of classrooms, furniture and apparatus and free textbooks.
  • The drop-out rate will upsurge because of the two additional years.
  • It is because of absence of money to fund their children to send them to school.

But the Government persisted saying that it will enable the students to prepare in stepping into tertiary learning is also an benefit, the students will be more equipped to deal with much higher level of mastering as they step in college.
