Endocrine glands are glands of endocrine system that secrete their products i.e, hormones into the blood rather than through a duct . Endocrine glands- pineal glandpituitary gland,pancreasovariestestesthyroid glandparathyroid glandhypothalamus and adrenal glands.

Those glands which secretes the chemical messenger called hormones directly into the blood for the target organs are called as endocrine glands.They are ductless glands.
                                               The study of the endocrine glands are known as endocrinology.
