Root growing downward. The movement of a planteither towards or away from water is called hydrotropism. Anexample is that of plant roots growing in humid air bending toward a higher relative humidity level.

The example for the hydrotropism plants are seen in tomato roots, radish roots or even in carrots.

Explanation:

The hydrotropism is the tendency to grow or tends to reach towards the area with moisture content. When there is an area with no moisture, hydrotropism would tend towards a little of moisture.

And when there is low moisture area, hydrotropism would tend towards higher content of moisture area. These are positive hydrotropism, reciprocal to these will be negative hydrotropism.
