2. Pungent odour in them comes because of the presence of glucosides which contains sulphur.

3. We get various types of oils from these plants.

4. In secretary cells myrosin enzyme is found.

Some exceptions of cruciferae are as follows:-

1. Chandani or Candytuft is the plant which have inflorescence of corymb type.

2. Also in cauliflower corymb inflorescence is seen.

3. In cauliflower each and every branch is seen to be corymb.
