In indirect speech the 2nd speaker doesn't repeats the sentence of the 1st speaker.
Example- He said that he will go to shop.
Whereas, in direct speech the 2nd speaker repeats the words that was already told by the 1st speaker.
Example- He said, "I will go to shop".
