Plasma is a colorless straw colored watery fluid present in blood. Plasma contain albumin, globulin and fibrinogen. Plasma carries glucose, proteins, fats and hormones to different parts of body. Plasma contain water, salts, enzymes etc. Nitrogenous waste produced by body are transported to kidney through plasma. As plasma contain antibodies so after getting cured from a disease plasma are donated.
