What are the factors affecting change in land use pattern?
Answers
Answer:
The land use pattern is determined by certain physical factors of the country such as topography, climate and soil types. The availability of geographical area determines its uses by the country. In India we have various forms of land like plains, plateaus, mountains, etc., which are kept in mind before planning the land use pattern.
There are certain human factors also affecting the land use pattern. They include population density of the country, technological capability and, culture and traditions of the country, etc. The economic development of the country depends on the technological development of the country thus leading to the planning of land use pattern.
Answer:
Physical Factors affecting land use pattern in a country:-
• topography
( plateaus, and ro.cky slopes and plain lands like lands on a roc.ky steep slope can't be put to use)
• climate
( like if there's a region which doesn't experience rain at all, it'll turn into a desert I'm no less time)
• soil types
(fertility of soil helps crops to gr.ow if the soils has coal dust or gravels its not fertile and hence the plants won't be able to gr.ow in that region)
Human Factors affecting land use pattern:-
• population density of the country
(if the population is large more land will be used to construct houses and buildings thatd mean more deforestation and thus the evergreen environment will most certainly be lost)
• technological capability
( for a country advancing in technology it'd mean yes to more explosives and nuclear wastes, the radiations emitted will affect the soil and plants growth)
