ANSWER :-
- The process when a liquid change its state to vapour is called evaporation.
- Evaporation of liquid can also take place at room temperature.
There are 4 factors which affects evaporation :-
- Temperature
- Humidity
- Speed of wind
- Surface area
☞ Temperature :-
- The rate of evaporation start increasing when the liquid temperature increases of heated up.
- This rate of evaporation becomes maximum at its boiling point.
☞ Humidity :-
- The evaporation rate of a liquid increases when the humidity of air is low.
- And it decreases when the humidity is high.
☞ Speed of wind :-
- The evaporation rate of a liquid increases when the speed of wind increases.
☞ Surface area :-
- The evaporation rate of a liquid increases on the increasing of the surface area of the liquid.
