The internal resistance of cell depends on the following factors :-

  • Nature of electrolyte.
  • Concentration of the electrolyte.
  • Distance between the electrolytes.
  • With the increase in common area of the electrodes, the internal resistance decrease.
  • Temperature is inversely proportional to internal resistance.
