Explanation:

Evaporation is the process by which water changes from a liquid to a gas or vapour.

The rate of evaporation is affected by the following factors:

Temperature: The rate of evaporation increases with an increase in temperature.

Surface area: The rate of evaporation increases with an increase in surface area.

Humidity: The amount of water vapour present in the air is called humidity. The rate of evaporation decreases with an increase in humidity.

Wind speed: Evaporation increases with an increase in wind speed.

hope it helps u

Hey !

The factors effecting evaporation are as follows:-

• Change in temperature :- the rate of evaporation increases when the temperature increases.

• Surface area :- The rate of evaporation increases when surface area increases.

•Humidity :- The amout / content of water vapour which is present in air is called humidity.

•Wind speed :- Evaporation increases if the wind speed increases.

• Density :- The rate of evaporation decreases when the density increases and the rate of evaopration increases when the density decreases.

I hope this answers your question!
