The friction force depends on two factors:
a) The materials that are in contact. The two materials and the nature of their surfaces. ...b) The force pushing the two surfaces together. Pushing the surfaces together causes the more of the asperities to come together and increases the surface area in contact with each other.

frictional force or friction depends on:-
➡the nature of materials in contact
i.e. rough surfaces will have more friction between them.. but smooth surface will have comparitivly less force of friction between them
➡force of friction = coefficient of friction × normal force
here Normal force = weight of the object = mg
so ...
