what are the factors on which resistivity of a conductor depends

parneet43: length - resistivity depends on the length .if lengt is doubled resistivity als doubled because resistivity is directly proportional to length . 2. area of cross section - if the area of the corresection of a wire is doubled by taking a thicker wire the resistance is half of the previous value . if radius is double the resistance will become one fourth . resistance of the conductor is inversely proportional to the area .
parneet43: 3. the resistance of the conductor depends on the nature of material of the conductor. 4. the resistance with increases with increase in its temperature
anandtiwari0019: you are saying reverse

The resistivity of a material is the resistanceof a wire of that material of unit length and unit cross-sectional area. The unit for resistivity is the ohm-metre. Theresistivity of a materialdepends on its nature and the temperature of theconductor, but not on its shape and size.
