1)Area of cross section of conductor :

•The resistance of a conductor varies inversely with change in area of conductor

2) Length of the conductor :

• The resisatnce of a conductor varies linearly with change in length of a conductor

3) Resistivity of a material :

• The resisatnce of conductor also depends linearly on the Resistivity of material through which conductor is made up of.

Hence combining all factors we get

R = rl/a

r = Resistivity

l = length

a = area of cross section
