1.Qualitative traits :- The traits which are governed by one pair of genes, are inherited as per the simple Mendelian laws. There are two forms of genes. The alternative forms of genes are called the alleles. The allele that masks the expression of it's alternative allele is called the Dominant Gene. The trait governed by Dominant Gene will be expressed both in homozygous and heterozygous States of Genotype. The trait governed by Recessive Gene will only be expressed in Homozygous state of Genotype ( means both genes must be recessive).
Sex Linked Recessive Traits:- These traits are governed by the genes located on X Chromosome. As female has two X Chromosomes,Sex linked traits ( like Haemophilia and Night blindness),So to be a female haemophiliac, the Genotypes must be in Homozygous state. In males as there is only one X Chromosome, it require only one Gene to be a male haemophiliac. That's why males are more susceptible for Haemophilia.
Sex limited traits :- are expressed only in one sex for example:- Milk production is limited to female (Cow,Buffalo), Even though males have the genes for milk production, but it is not expressed BUT males transmit the genes for milk production to it's daughters. So if A Bull of High Genetic Value is used in a herd, the offsprings (Cows)of next generation will be able to produce high milk yield. This Sex limited trait ( Milk Production ) is governed by many genes,So this kind of Inheritance is known as Quantitative Traits Inheritance. I have explained both Qualitative (Simple Mendelian Inheritance) and Quantitative Inheritance. You can understand both types of Inheritance. Hope the explanation will certainly help. Wishing you all the best.
