There are a lot of factors that play a part in obesity and overweight conditions of a human being. These include the lifestyle choices (like no physical activity, insomnia), medical problems (like hypothyroidism) and genetics.

If a person eats more calories than he or she should, then it will result in him being overweight or obese.

The excessive calories will be stored in our body as fat. They will only burn out when the weight-control strategies are adhered to.
